Knoxville, Nov. 21—Harvey Logan on trial on the
charge of being implicated in the Montana train
robbery, refused to go on the stand to testify,
claiming he was not present when the robbery
occurred and, therefore, knew nothing of it. His
attorney asked for a continuance on the ground the
some of the important witnesses were absent. The
request was refused. The case may go to
