| TRAIN ROBBERS
AGAIN ESCAPE. |
| Sheriff McDaniel and posse go to
Wamsutter. United States Marshal Hadsell advised
Sunday that robbers were making for Powder Springs. |

| News was received at Rawlins on Sunday last,
that the Union Pacific train robbers were turning
south and would probably try to join the Butch
Cassidy gang at Powder Springs. As they would
probably cross the railroad between Rawlins and
Green River. |

Sheriff McDaniel organized a posse and left on a
special train at 8:30 p.m. for Wamsutter.
The party was in charge of Sheriff McDaniel and
consisted of, F. H. Farris, John Baxter, John
Childs, Chase Cobb, William Bunker, Chase Aggers
and Chase Walters, and was well supplied with
everything necessary for a long chase. No word
has been received from them since they left.

| The driver of the Lander stage reports this
morning that on Sunday night last, five horses were
taken from a bunch at Crook's Creek, and five worn
out one's left in their places. The supposition is
that the worn out horses belong to the train
robbers. |

| POSSE SENT OUT FROM LARAMIE. |

| The Republicans says: that on receipt of news at
Laramie that the train robbers were returning south
again, a posse was organized and left on a special
train at two o'clock, Monday afternoon for Rock
Creek. The party was in charge of Sheriff Yund and
consisted of Morgan E. Koadler, Ralph Lasher and
Robert McKay. |

| They had their horses sent up in a special car
and will go out from Rock Creek toward the Laramie
Peak country. |

| THREE MEN ARRESTED NEAR YELLOWSTONE. |

| A Dispatch to Salt Lake Tribune Says: |
| “Near Devells Wyo., just north of Yellowstone
Park, Sunday morning. The park scouts captured three
men supposed to be the Union Pacific train robbers.

| “The men are now being taken across country to
Mammoth Hot Springs. |

| “This news was brought to Monida Sunday night by
the driver of the Monida and Yellowstone Park stage.
They were captured without the firing of a gun." |

| A Dispatch From Casper, Under Date of Sunday
Says: |

| “Eight of the posse hunting the Union Pacific
train robbers in the Hole-in-the-Wall country
returned to Casper to-day, the robbers have left the
Hole-in-the-Wall mountains and are traveling back
south. |

| “The last heard of them was at Powder river
coming south. They seemed to be heading towards
Walton. A posse is following them now. |

| “To-day, squads were placed at all the bridges
across the Platte River and new men with a fresh
horses started for the Wolton country. |

| “The pursuing party at Sullivan's sheep camp,
where the robbers ate breakfast and took pack horses
and bed, were twelve hours behind. |

| “The robbers are traveling in a very broken
country, with numerous washouts and a model place to
hide, at Sullivan's camp, only two robbers put in an
appearance. |
