claimed to be, nitroglycerin. The man demanded $21,000 or else he would
blow up the bank. The bank president handed over the money and the

McCarty and Matt Warner are believed to have been involved in the
robbery. |

Territorial Prison - Built in 1872, the 190-acre facility was
home to Robert LeRoy Parker (using the alias George Cassidy) from
July 1894 to January 1896. While enjoying their incarceration
prisoners could look forward to many activities such as broom
production, creating hand-carved furniture, cigars, shoes jewelry
and everyone's favorite, taxidermy. The facility was restored in
1989 and is open to the public. |
