Timeline: 1910 & Beyond

 

May 29, 1911 - Ben Kilpatrick released from the federal penitentiary in Atlanta, Georgia.

March 13, 1912 - Ben Kilpatrick and Ole Hobeck killed while robbing while robbing Southern Pacific train near Sanderson, Texas. 

November 22, 1912 - Bub Meeks dies in Evanston, Wyoming.

July 30, 1918 - Herb Bassett dies.

1919 - Hiram Bebee sentenced to 10 years in San Quinten prison for larceny.

1925 - In her book, Butch Cassidy, My Brother, Lula Parker Betenson reports Butch Cassidy visited to the Parker homestead sometime in 1925.

October 20, 1929 - Douglas A. Preston dies in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

April 1930 - Arthur Chapman's article concerning the San Vicente shootout is published in Elks Magazine. 

July 20, 1934 - William T. Phillips dies of stomach cancer in Spokane, Washington.

November 10, 1934 - Elzy Lay dies in Los Angeles, California at the age of 65.

1935 - Robert Harvey Longabaugh claims Etta Place died in 1935 in Marion County, Oregon.

1937 - Lula Parker Betenson states Butch Cassidy died in the Northwest sometime in the fall of 1937 under the name William Phillips.

July 28, 1938 - Maximillian Parker dies in Utah at the age of 90.

December 21, 1938 - Matt Warner dies in Price, Utah at the age of of 74.

October 1, 1940 - Joe LeFors dies at the age of 75.

1945 - Hiram Bebee murders a off-duty marshal in Provo, Utah.

1948 - George McCarty dies.

April 19, 1950 - Walt Punteney dies in Pinedale, Wyoming at the age of 79. 

June 1, 1955 - Hiram Bebee dies in the Utah State Penitentiary.

May 8, 1956 - Ann Bassett Willis dies in Brown's Park, Utah.

August 2, 1957 - Robert Harvey Longabaugh claims the Sundance Kid died on this date under the name Harry Long or Frank Jones. 

July 22, 1958 - Maude Davis, first wife of Elzy Lay, dies.

April 16, 1959 - Gertrude Phillips, wife of William T. Phillips, dies.

1961 - Laura Bullion dies in Memphis, Tennessee.

October 24, 1969 - Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid opens to a nationwide in the U.S..

December 18, 1972 - Robert Harvey Longabaugh dies in a motel fire in Missoula, Montana.
